Résumé :

Maps go far beyond just showing us where things are located. In this talk, I will explore how maps impact our lives on social and cultural levels. Through examining maps from a history up to the present day, Iwill argue that in order to understand maps, we need to understand the people that use them. By doing so he aims to highlight why there is much potential for collaboration between cultural geographers and social psychologists.
